Oleander is a heavy feeder so apply a balanced water-soluble fertilizer every 6 to 8 weeks or fertilize roughly 3 times per growing season. Blooms occur on both new and old wood. It is recommended to take the lazy gardener approach and dont prune. If you do decide to prune, protect your skin from irritating sap, discard all fallen branches, and prune it in late Winter or early Spring.
