Canada Anemone Windflower

Canada Anemone Windflower, also known as Anemone canadensis, is an early blooming perennial that flowers during the spring. Stark white 5-petal blooms with yellow stamens are contrasted against green foliage with deeply cut edges. This hardy plant is low maintenance and grows as a perennial in USDA zones 3 through 8. Plant this beauty in beds, borders, or mass plantings. The spreading habit makes this Windflower a great groundcover. The pure white blooms stand out on their own or perfectly complement other flowering plants. The Canada Anemone Windflower is native to North America, so once this plant has had time to acclimate, it will do well with very little attention.
