Cutting Edge Foamflower

The Cutting Edge Foamflower is one of the first perennials to feed the bees in early spring. Combine beautifully with hostas, ferns, bleeding hearts and sedges. The leaves have dark burgundy centers and this plant is evergreen in several climates. Meaning it will provide beautiful color even during cold winter months. There are white colored flowers that bloom early spring. These plants are also deer resistant. This woodland perennial thrives in partial to full shade and humus-rich, moisture retentive soil. Whether you live in zone 4 or zone 9, or anywhere in between, you can grow this plant successfully. In garden containers, use this as a filler. The Cutting Edge Foamflower typically grows 8-10 inches tall, and 16-18 inches wide. For best plant health and results, space these plants 16-18 inches apart, center on center. The growth habit is clumping.
