Growing 4 to 5 feet tall and wide, this Indian hawthorn is ideal for shaping into formal or informal hedges or anchoring entryways with effortless charm. It’s exceptionally tolerant of drought, heat, humidity, and even salt spray, making it a reliable performer in both inland and coastal landscapes. Care Tips Plant in full sun and well-drained soil for best results. Water regularly during the first growing season, then reduce as the plant becomes established. Prune lightly after its bloom period in spring to maintain shape and encourage healthy growth. A springtime feeding with balanced fertilizer will support vigorous blooming and foliage color. Hardy in USDA Zones 7–10, the Eleanor Taber Indian Hawthorn is as resilient as it is beautiful.
