Bright green, needle-like foliage is completely covered in violet-purple petite flowers with a dark purple eye beginning in late April. Eye Shadow Moss Phlox attracts early-season pollinators seeking its rich nectar when it flowers in early through late spring. With its vigorous habit and easy maintenance care, this low-growing colorful groundcover will exceed your garden expectations. Eye Shadow Moss Phlox grows to 6 in height but is capable of easily spreading to at least 20 inches.

This is an extremely hardy perennial groundcover, with cold hardiness in Zones 2 – 9.
