Plant sneezeweed in average-to-fertile soil that is moist and well drained. These plants prefer consistent moisture, so water weekly and apply a thick layer of organic mulch to retain soil moisture. Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in the spring. Remove spent flowers and cut back leggy growth by early to mid-summer to create a bushy and dense plant.
