Boulevard Sarah Elizabeth clematis is one of the larger clematis in the Boulevard series, and its big on personality, too! The soft pink sepals have ruffled edges that lend a distinctive texture to the alluring flowers. Burgundy stamens entice pollinators to its beneficial nectar at the center. These fabulous pink flowers bloom from spring until early summer, providing a long-lasting source of nectar to your local bees and butterflies. Like other Boulevard clematis varieties, Sarah Elizabeth is a fabulous choice for dramatic container plantings. It will act as a tall thriller when planted with a trellis, or an extravagant spiller when left to cascade over the edge of the container. Sarah Elizabeth looks lovely when planted in the ground, and will prove to be a dependable perennial in Zones 4-9. Mulch the ground with a thick layer of wood mulch to retain soil moisture and temperature, and pull the mulch away from the stem.
